These terms of service outline the rules and guidelines for using the services provided by Static Web Studio. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

We provide static website development using WordPress + Elementor or custom code, website maintenance, and hosting management. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined in each project proposal or agreement.

Project scope and revisions

Each project begins with an agreed scope. Work outside the scope may require additional fees. Revisions are limited as specified in the project agreement. Major scope changes may restart timelines and pricing.

Payment

Payment terms are stated in the project proposal. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due before final delivery or launch. Monthly maintenance plans are billed in advance.

Client responsibilities

• Provide content, images, and feedback in a timely manner
• Ensure you have rights to all materials you provide
• Maintain access to domain, hosting, and third-party accounts as needed

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, the client owns the final website content and design created specifically for the project. We retain the right to use generic code and techniques developed during the project.

Support and maintenance

Support is provided according to the active maintenance plan or project agreement. Maintenance does not cover major redesigns, new feature development, or issues caused by third-party services outside our control.

Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement with written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date are due. Prepaid maintenance fees are not refundable on a pro-rata basis unless otherwise agreed.

Limitation of liability

Static Web Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the website or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant services.

International clients

Static Web Studio serves clients worldwide. These terms apply regardless of your location. By using our services, you agree that contracts are formed electronically and that communication will primarily take place by email or video call. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with the laws of your country or region.

GDPR, CASL, and other compliance obligations

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from their own customers or contacts before sharing personal data with us for a project. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications and honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Payments, refunds, and currency

Project fees and maintenance plans are quoted in the currency stated in the proposal or invoice. Payments are due according to the schedule in the project agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Monthly maintenance fees are billed in advance and are not refundable on a pro-rata basis.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified in the project agreement, or, if no jurisdiction is specified, by the laws of the jurisdiction where Static Web Studio is primarily operated. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the governing jurisdiction, as agreed in the project contract.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a prominent notice on our website.
